Silly tattoo story:

My dad had a stick figure dude.

Had.

Now he has more a head and an arm and 2 legs. His skin rejected the ink. His poor little stick figure vanishes more every year.

This whole thread is very timely... there was an article in The Washington Post just this past weekend about a man who has gone into the "tatoo removal" business and is doing quite well, thank you very much! There were interviews from people of all walks of life who had gotten tatoos and deeply regretted them now. One was a woman who had gotten a butterfly "tramp stamp" 15 years ago. She said that regardless of your own personal opinion, society still judges you as a "tramp" with a tatoo... hence the term "tramp stamp." She didn't want her own children to see her that way, so she chose to undergo the laborious and painful process of laser removal. There were a few men profiled as well, but I didn't read through all of their stories.

So..... remember it's permanent (unless you havea lot of money and time to remove it later), and there are tons of health risks involved....
