Every gym has both strength and weaknesses. The "best" gym or the "best" coach for one child would certainly be the "worst" for another. In every gym that has past Olympians they also may have many gymnasts that "almost" or "could have" made it to the top level.

In every top gym that has had successful Olympians be aware the coaches and circumstances are constantly changing. The exact ingredients to make that champion will never happen again. So the gym needs to be best in a different way for every gymnast every single day, month, year and quad.

ambiguously dumb question...when they suck, who is the best gym then?

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
