My DD has been trying to hold her handstand for longer without support or "walking" on her hands. She can hold against a wall (stomach facing wall) for at least 1 minute and she can walk on her hands in good position for a full length of the floor. They do both of these in practice regularly. But she can't hold a free standing handstand for more than a couple of seconds without falling. Is it just practice, trial and error, or are there other drills for a better way to try rebalance herself? She will try occasionally at home, so was just wondering if there are tips/videos she could look at when she gets bored that might help her.

And with good form of course. It's easier to hold a slightly arched handstand but it will get you nowhere. A clean, strong handstand will help your dughter on every event.
But be aware, as we all know too much of any good can be bad. (Talking wrist overuse etc.)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
