Parents How did your gymnast react to their first really nasty rip?

Thanks for your replies. Turns out, she didn't actually rip, miraculously. So I'll just have to wait and see.

I saw my daughter shed tears when she did it but she was ok and didn't pitch a fit. But the moment she got in the car she started hyperventilating then sobbing. I let her do it because she kept a strong strait face with only wiping tears while she finished her practice (luckily it was only a few min till the end). she calmed down untill we got home and she washed it with soap. then was fine once it dried.
