How to make a frame bar for tumbletrak/trampoline

I'm interested in utilizing a frame bar on our tumbletrak for the purposes of bar drills. The thing is, $269 is too steep a price and my gym won't go for it.

We have a floor bar which is long enough to reach across comfortably (even across the regular trampoline). Has anyone improvised their own frame bars for tumbletrak/trampoline, and what have you done to secure it down with?

I'm thinking I can just utilize additional velcro strips along with the velcro that's already inherent under the pads alongside the tumbletrak. But I'd love to get any input from those who have experience in doing this.

I suspect velcro strips alone wouldn't be enough; the commercial version uses small metal attatchments which bolt into the tumbletrack.

I'm sure that building a bounce bar can be done, though -- I just don't know how to do it.

The floor rail for the tumble track at my gym has velcro, but its not strong enough, so we have to put mats on top of it to hold the sides down.

(ETA: when I say on top of it, I mean on the side parts that have velcro)
