Hey everyone!

so first i have to say that my 'gymnastics carreer' ended a while ago, since then i am competing in track and field.

So as i'm still in love with gymnastics and gymnasts are 'exerienced' with injuries, i thought that it might help to post here.

Two years ago i had a bad stress fracture in my left ankle, i went to the doctor, i took time off, finally it healed, but from then on i always had pain in my whole foot when i was jumping.
Then this summer it actually got worse, i just thought it would be the pain i'm used to, but as a MRI turned out it was a stress reaction again and three or four bones were filled with water. To avoid another stress fracture i nearly sat out for 2 months. After that everything was fine, but since last week i have quite a lot pain in the area of the injured bones when i do very soft jumps or sprints.

Huhh! Here is my question:

I am really worried if it could be a stress fracture. Is it possible to have pain after such a long period of rest?

I hope somebody can help or share his thoughts!!!
