Innocent and Ignorant

My name is ngungo, means innocent or ignorant in Vietnamese, and I am new here. I am a retired computer engineer. I don't know anything about gymnastics and now I want to know.

Hey, I don't know where to start so I start here then I hope that you'd guide me where it will be more appropriate.

In a nutshell here it is. I don't think Vietnam has anything close to gymnastics. The country just got up from a long and tiresome wartime. It has a of young girls, underprivileged girls. I served there during the war so I know. I am retired now so I can spare some time. I wonder that how much in terms of time, money, effort and know-how to have a Vietnamese gymnastics team to represent Vietnam to the next Olympics Game? Is it possible?

I've looked for them in Wikipedia I saw they are quite competitive in local games. What ignorant I am, huh!

Anyway I would ask the same questions though. Let's start with this. How does one scout for young potential girls in terms of age, physical appearance, physical ability etc... Is there any literature about this? Any hints would be appreciated.

Unless you have major coaching experience I would say try to find the gym where those three were trained and see about helping them build their program. They should have the ability to train you to be a coach as well.
