Hi everyone,

I am a competitive gymnastics coach in Canada. Next year, as part of my university program, I have the chance to take part in an international internship, in any teaching-related context, for a duration of 6 weeks. I would love to use this opportunity to do an internship in a gymnastics club abroad, to learn from more experienced coaches and develop my coaching skills.

I was wondering if anybody knows of clubs that may be willing to accept an (unpaid) intern ? I would prefer to go somewhere in Europe. I speak french, english and spanish. I have 5 years of experience coaching mainly developmental level girls (pre-competitive) as well as JO Levels 4 to 6. I am certified by the national coaching association in Canada to coach WAG up to JO Level 10 as well as trampoline.

Let me know if you know of a place or have recommendations as where to go ! :)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
