Is there a deduction for having their legs apart

on the double back tuck? I was watching the US training videos and one girl had then way wide and Gabrielle Douglas' knees were almost together. Does it make a difference in the score?

yep. small deduction for the 'cowboy' tuck.

Dunno, in the case of a double back- is the deduction per salto or just once for the entire element?

Pretty sure its once for the entire element as your not meant to make the same deduction twice for one skill. Cowboy tuck is a break in correct form so it gets deducted.

yes. the entire element. no more than 1/10 but most of the time they take 1/2 a tenth.

Are we talking USAG, College or what we see on TV? And it can also depend on the judges at times.

well, i'd say 1/2 tenth USAG and college. full 1/10 elite. and it's true, some meets they plain don't care.
