Women Jeff Thompson from Penn State coaching at KO meets?

Does anyone have any info on how or why Jeff Thompson, former Head Coach at Penn State is still on floor at competitions such as Metroplex last weekend? Safe Sport??

Not a fan of his, but he is not on the ineligible list for USAG. Unless he has been suspended, a club can hire him. Now, the wisdom of that hire could/should be questioned given his coaching past, but he isn't suspended/ineligible.

Yes, he is not currently on banned list, so I guess that means he can be on floor at meets. What exactly does Safe Sport consider when determining if abuse occurs?
