I gotta post something to keep the ads away…
So, just for fun, with ample acknowledgement that MAG and WAG are very different sports and any comparison is going to be imperfect, I’m curious what USAG WAG levels (xcel or DP) are roughly equivalent to MAG level 6E on the events where there is some overlap: floor, vault, and bar(s). MAG 6E is a compulsory level limited to boys ages 9-12.
Floor:
Robh, whip, BHS, back tuck-open
Robh back full
FHS FHS front tuck
High bar:
Front giants
Half pirouette into to back giants
Free hip handstand
Swing 1/2 turn to handstand
Back giants into laid out flyaway
Vault:
Front handspring
(Most boys at this level could compete a tucked Tsuk but a FHS is compulsory).
Thanks!
