DD, a level 4 who is 11, had a meet this morning. Start time was 8 AM. (yay 
) They started on vault, where she got an 8.3. They were judged very tough on vault. Then bars, DD ripped the night before so it was not her best routine. She scored another 8.3. Then to beam. She finally broke out of the 7s and got an 8.1. Then floor. She had a bit of a battle with her handstand bridge kickover but didn't fall. She got a 9.05. She was upset because her heart was so set on a 9.5. Her gym has a 9.5 club and she wasn't in it last year and wants to be in it this year. She got 4th on floor, 5th on beam and bars, 7th on vault and 5th AA. There were 7 girls in her age group. She is working so hard to get that 9.5! Hope she does.
