I’m a level 4 (this is my second year competing 4) and I’ve had this consistent problem when it comes to vault. So basically when I do my front handspring it almost always turns into a half on. I can never predict when it will happen and there’s nothing that I can really do to prevent it. However some days I can do amazing vaults without a single thought of turning. For example there have been some meets when I’ve done amazing vaults and gotten 9s but then I had a meet where I turned on both my vaults and got a 6. I think it’s just a mental block type of thing but I really wish I could do something about it, because the second that I think I’ve gotten over it I end up doing it again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Without a video of the problem, it is hard to say what to fix but with my girls, some twist because of an uneven block with the shoulders or one arm being bent. I would suggest working on shoulder strength and tons of blocking drills.
