If your gym requires a certain score(s) to advance to the next level would you mind shading? I am trying to gauge what is typical these days, understanding different gym philosophies play a big role here…
Thanks!

35 or 36 depending on the level. Move up scores are much less important than skills though. We went soft on skills for a few years... we have been making it more strict again... no skill... no move up.

Definitely more skills based than scores, but most of the people who move up get around a 34+

This year as a platinum, out of the three meets I have competed, I only broke a 33 one meet and got 32's at the other two, but I was told by the head coach that I am only two skills away to move up to diamond next season

We've been at 2 gyms. One had a minimum mobility score that had to be reached at 2 meets and required 80% of skills for the next level. The other required absolute perfection of all needed skills before moving up and many repeated levels. The first gym was a much more fun gym to train at but scores were not always the highest. The 2nd gym wins everything. So I think it depends what you're looking for overall.
