Parents My youngest dd did a novice lvl 4 meet today

And I'm so stinkin proud of her. She had 3 falls on beam and froze at the near end of her floor routine-but she did connect her robhs, she needed a spot for her fhc and threw in an extra cast...or two.. but she rocked on vault. She got a 9.1, not only was she the top score in her age group but the top score of the whole session. She just turned 6 on Friday and what a way to celebrate. A summer of practice to polish it up and she's gonna have a great level 4 season.

This is my second time as a lvl 4 mom and I can't wait to do it again with this dd. They are all just so cute.

Congrats to her!! Way to vault! I think a little meet like this before they actually start competing is great. Gets them used to what to expect, what to work on, etc. Hope she has a fun summer of training!

Sounds like she did fantastic! Especially this early. I agree with mariposa that an early meet to get the kids more aware of what will be coming in the fall is a great idea.
