I am writing a novel about an elite gymnast. Although I know a fair amount about gymnastics, I was never a high level (or even mid level) athlete, I've never coached anyone older than 5, and I don't have children. So you can see how I need some help understanding what it is like to be in those positions. Hi. Where are you from and what lead you to be interested in the topic (elite gymnastics)??

PS: I hope you do write it - I've only ever read 1 novel about elite gymnastics. It was satirical but hilarious - I loved it.
