I heard today that there is some new rule in regards to leos's matching music. Hear say not from a coach. Has anyone heard of such a thing?

It is supposed to start in May just before Canadian Nationals, but I just can't wrap my head around it. Both are so subjective I can't imagine it could be open to deductions if someone doesn't see it as you do.

I love this idea!!! Just imagine the crazy gymmumness that would erupt... It would get like discokid meets my big fat gypsy wedding, with top secret leotard designs commissioned from self styled specialists or mothers sitting up for days gluing crystals and pom poms. People would spend thousands of pounds/dollars for the best leotard/music combo and on competition day there would be fighting and accusations of espionage and copying.

Of course the gymnastics would have to become secondary to the fashion show, but that's a small detail :D

I can't imagine it.
In rhythmic it's all part of the artistry - the leo, apparatus and music are to match, but it's more the expression of the actual routine. So for a slow dreamy piece of music you would have a say pastel coloured leotard and matching apparatus, more important though that the routine would fit the music.

ok, but the stuffed parrot idea was mine, all mine, and if I see other small girls on the floor with a parrot on their shoulder I shall be seriously peeved ;)
