New to CB

....but not to the sport of gymnastics. I have finally decided to sign up and join the CB fun after experiencing lots of gym ups and downs. I keep thinking this gym thing is a phase and we are finally wrapping it up. But at 11, and just at the beginning of optionals, my DD seems to be ramping up and "just getting started".... so I've finally resigned myself that I have lost my DD to the gym, at least for the foreseeable future, and I need to learn to enjoy.

So, if you can't beat 'em join 'em I guess. Looking back, had I been more aware, Im not entirely sure I would have chosen this lifestyle. But I do love she identifies with such a productive activity, has great friends and great role models. And I can appreciate all the support and positivity on this board.

Hello and welcome, I'm in the UK but my DD is 11 and probably your level 6 so we are in the same boat - Christmas and birthdays are a nightmare for me - I mean how many leos and shorts can one girl have ?

I love this community and have made many good friends here, and they have kept me sane when the Cray-cray rears its ugly head. Hope you enjoy

Thanks for the welcome and the sentiment Iwannabemargo!! And having been on both sides of the cray-cray my #1 gymnastics goal is to avoid as much of it as possible!!
