Parents "Not messy" compitition snack ideas

I have dried strawberries, possibly unsalted nuts like almonds on the list....and that's it! What other ideas do yall have for easy, healthy snacks during meets? My daughter is only five, so I don't want any crumbs, stickiness, or anything yucky that she can rub onto her oh, so expensive compitition Leo!
 
Goldfish, grapes (frozen or refrigerated), apple sauce in the little squeeze container, apple slices, boiled egg, trail mix, cereal bar, turkey/ham and cheese roll up, veggie straws, carrot sticks, cheese sticks or cubes of cheese, beef sticks, etc. Water to wash it all down with. No peanuts since you don't know if anyone else at a meet might be allergic.

Honestly though, it will just depend on the time she competes as to if she even needs a snack. But always send water. And a small pack of baby wipes. That's good to send regardless of whether a snack is involved or not.
 
I usually send Goldfish, but I have never observed my child or any other kid on her team actually eating the snacks until the competition is done and they are waiting for awards to begin. And then all they eat is the candy from the candygrams.
You may not observe it but some do eat during the meet.

Both my kids eat their snacks. Ds sometimes eats during, definitely eats the rest while waiting for awards. Dd and her whole team share snacks while waiting for awards. If the meet is early dd has trouble easing breakfast and has to eat some during the meet, She can often at least eat some between warm-up and march-in.

Other things I forgot about, some mentioned by others above: applesauce pouches, ds likes fruit snacks (but they are sticky), dd likes to take a mini bagel sandwich. I toast a mini bagel, spread cream cheese and put together like a sandwich and place in a container (not a baggy, as it would get squished.) She tears off bites to eat. This is especially good for early meets as she has trouble eating breakfast when she has to get up too early. Sliced apples are not too messy.
 
No nuts, we have kids with nut allergies on our team. And as a rule of thumb I tend to not give my kid nuts where a lot of kids will be because you never know.

Grapes, cheese sticks, apple slices, Hershey kisses, gold fish, bagel and cream cheese, egg whites, turkey slices, pretzels. When I pack something. She rarely eats at meets. Usually the snack is eaten in the car. I usually buy something for her at the meet, that she will munch on right before awards or in the car until we can get to a real meal.

Dd's coaches did not allow them to eat or drink after warm up started or during the meet itself at the earlier compulsory levels. The kids put down their bags somewhere once they arrived and the bags were not touched again until awards. One coach told me she didn't want kids needing to go to the bathroom because there were not enough coaches to watch kids and escort kids to the bathroom. I think they also did not want to have kids leave the group to go to their bags, also related to supervision issues.
