Hi everybody, I am repadding the pit, making it narrower and slightly less deep.

Meanwhile, I discovered these pit fluffers that are afaik unknown in my area.

Was wondering if you guys have good experience with those, since they are quite pricey. Our pit is huge and I we have high volumes of kids and adults, so it might be a good investment.

It'd be nice if the inner walls of the pit could not be covered with the inflatable vinyl (I saw they attach it right underneath the edges), letting it just stay on the bottom, but I assume you need to have the walls taken by the inflatable in order to better push away the cubes and to vacuum from outside.

Thanks a bunch!

Pitfluffer.com

If you search (gymnastics) foam pit fluffer on YouTube there are a few vids showing the system.

It is one of those super interesting things that supposedly have huge downsides too, but who knows! Looks like in the US (where there is a general good culture for pits, cleaning and fluffing) it has gotten kind of popular in the past 8-10 years, which makes it a good period of time to investigate the downsides LOL

Here is a video... I guess I do remember seeing advertisements for this quite a while ago...

I have to say that I do not know any clubs that have this. Anyone here have one of these at your club?

I do know a few clubs that have airbag systems like the following...

It is exactly an airbag system place under the cubes.

Airbag instead of cubes, I am not going for them, too dangerous IMO.
