Parents Planning a HS Meet

My daughter is on a High School varsity team and club team.

Right now her Varsity team is planning their invitational meet. They invite the other varsity teams in the area. While they are judged and scored conventionally, there is typically have an additional theme or novel way of scoring. We're looking for ideas.

For example:
1 school divides the girls by grade level and a grade level wins ( 7th-12th)
1 invitational has girls divide into teams of 3 (with simple costumes) awards are teams based.

I went to a meet once where they did a fantasy football style team but I think it was just random. That was in addition to normal scores and placements.

cowgirl/country/western is an easy theme! An easy way to incorporate this is with cowboy hats, plaid, etc.
