WAG Re-training L4 skills when it's uptraining time?

I promise, I only let out my CGM side here. Thanks for bearing with me!

They already separated out the old L3 girls at the gym by who is moving up and who is staying at L3. So the "new" L4's are training with the "new" L5's.

But for some reason, the coach is having them go through all the L4 routines and skills. But the L3's are working L4 skills too.

Maybe the coach is hoping that doing the skills and routines with the old L4s will help the girls who are moving up. There aren't a lot of differences between L4 and L5, so a little extra practice at L4 won't hurt their progress.
 
Yes, there are a lot of similarities between the levels and the basic skills need to be solid. I see this as a good thing -- coach wants the girls to be solid on basics, before adding new skills. Unless they were all scoring 37+, there is likely valuable work to do on the "little things". It will also help to level set the new group and help them feel like a team.
