How do you take care of rips for your child?

I have heard to use a used tea bag.
oldest dd has one and well she HATES them. I keep telling her it shows she is a true gymnast:)

We use Bag Balm. Put that on the rip and cover the hand in a sock or glove when she sleeps.

where can you get that? this rip was a tad bigger than the size of a dime! almost as big as her hand LOL

I found it at the drugstore. It comes in a large square green tin. It may take a couple of days of treatment, but it seems to work pretty well.

I asked this same question a few weeks ago and the bag balm advice is good advice! We kept her hand covered in it, inside socks, and in 3 days the rip was healed up and good as new! I found it at Walgreens.

I use vitamin E capsule, break it open on to the rips then put socks on her hands over night. By morning they are much better :)
