There is a specific deduction for that touch of foot on bar during the shoot through in Level 4...up to .2.
 
Hi Leslie:
In level 4 beam the requirement is only a 3/4 handstand, NOT a vertical handstand. (that's in level 5, and they have to hold vertical one second).
In level 4, they have to tap their feet together in a 3/4 handstand, and that's it! So it's likely that she's not being deducted for amplitude on the hs at all.

If she's nervous about vertical handstands (practicing for level 5), get her onto a floor beam or very low beam. Good luck!
