Straight legs in cartwheels and split jumps?

I can't feel the bend in my legs. I can't feel when it's locked and when it's not so I have a bent ugly back leg. Any help on the split jump?

And in cartwheels I can't feel that my legs are bent. Usually I can feel it.
 
You can't feel bent legs, instead of thinking about whether they are bent or straight, I've had more success thinking about squeezing thigh muscles. Also thinking about pointing feet can help.
 
I agree with concentrating on pointing your toes. This tends to lead to straight(er) legs because of the way the muscles are all connected
