Any other time I'd say go for it. Before a state meet I'd say to reschedule. I'm sure there are other times they'll let her sample. So why chance her injuring herself or being to sore to compete the next day.

Thank you!i did european cup bobsledding two years ago and still coach some sledders in the weightroom and on track - bob sledding is sprinting at its purest form: sprint and push this thing as fast as you can. the training is mainly the same as a 60m indoor track training only would be, but the athletes are bigger and heavier since the distances are shorter and you have to push the bob and you have to be heavy to make the weight cut (the bobs have a weight limit and if the athletes in it are not heavy enough you have to use steel plates to make up for the missing weight and pushing these steel plates with the bob makes your start times much worse, so heavier athletes are a must). in principle they are like throwers in track (think shot put, discus...), but sprinting ones. in training they do mainly some sprint work (technique work, speed work, explosive work) and strength stuff and olmypic lifting in the weight room. also some jumping. so doing this is imo a pretty good way to become a great crossfit coach - at least you know a lot about athletic trainig to start working with.
