Im an excel gold currently. I’ve always been very afraid of my flyaway even off the pit bar. But I lost it shortly after. A few months ago I had an ulgy one into the pit for about a week. I have 2 main problems. The first being I feel like I can’t get a proper grip on the bar. Even with chalk it always feels like I’m gonna peal off. The second problem is very related to the first, it’s that I can’t get my tap swings high enough. I’ve tried to talk to my coach about this but they mostly dismiss it and tell me that I just need to send it. Wondering if anyone has any tips or advice that you think might help.
