But this sport is so hard on bodies that even a skill that is ready could still be tough on ankles or knees. If a 4 incher lessens an athletes pain, I say it should be allowed.Which could also mean not competing a skill until it is ready.
The same thing does not work for everyone. Say someone is connecting skills, the mat might deaden their rebound. Or some person's pass lands in a different place and might hit the edge of the mat.But then I ask...why not put one in every corner? you can't move them anyway....
