NO, no, no, she wasn't saying your iris gets smaller as you get older she was saying that the relative percentage of your eye opening that it takes up is less as you get older. This is because your bones grow, your eye socket grows allowing more of the "whites" of your eyes to show.

Very interesting. I personally think they are lieing. I've met several of the Chinese gymnasts (long story) and there is no way they are older than my cousin. She's twelve.
