I just have a really funny story, and I need to tell it...

Last night at practice, I was in the waiting room just standing around waiting for practice to start. It was pretty crowded because the classes for the year just started, and all of the parents love staying for the whole 1 1/2 hour class. I looked in the corner, where the cubby I usually use is, and low and behold, there was a man sitting there. He was sitting in a wooden porch chair, with cushions on it. He had a little foot rest, a mug of coffee, a small table, and a pile of magazines. I guess he looked comfy, but VERY out of place!!! :D

Later that night I asked my coach if she had maybe put in a new chair for some reason. Nope. He brought the furniture in with him, and took it out with him as well. Anyone else have any weird waiting/viewing room parents? :p

Ummm no, can't say as if I have ever seen anything like that. It sounds a little too creepy to me. Are you sure he belonged there and wasn't some child abuser or something?

Hahaha yes! His daughter was in a class ;). My coach talked to him, he just wanted to be comfy! I actually think it's a little creepy that's the first thing that came to your mind... But, yea he's pretty much just a dad!

Sorry about that. I TOLD my husband not to camp out at the gym. :D

I've been known to take my camping chair in. Our gym has "benches" made out of plywood and they hurt my 40 year old butt after awhile. If I have papers to grade or lessons to plan, I'll take my computer and my camping chair and get to work.

HA! Too funny! It is obviously a parent that spend lots of time in the gym and know how uncomfy these places are. :) We have gotten where we carry bleacher chairs to the meets as some are so uncomfy to sit at for hours. LOLWe are at gym five to 6 days a week now. I run the front desk to give me something to do. :) We live 30 minutes away from the gym so going back and forth gets expensive. I bring books and magazines. etc. I have yet to bring my own chair and table! LOL
