Hey all, I'm responsible for setting the curriculum for our entire gym's girls program, due to getting a new boss and the level switch. I'll probably be asking a lot of different questions over the next couple of weeks, but this is where I am right now.

We have a level 1 training group, and a level 2 training group. Our level 2 group will be the new level 1, which leaves our level 1 training group really completely free for us to do whatever with. How is everyone handling this? What should these girls be doing now? I already have some ideas but I wanted to hear everyone else's point of view too before I start finalizing their workout.

Thanks everyone!
Justin

They could become a pre 1 group and the focus is on training them to be ready for the new level 1.

Or you could ditch the whole level system entirely and training them in strength and advanced skills and see if any just excel and they can go straight to level 3 or 4.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
