what is the difference between a 1/4 on 1/4 and a 1/2 on 1/2 off?? i feel like they are so similar yet they give different start values so how do i know i’m actually doing the 1/2 on 1/2 off correctly??

With a 1/4, your fingers face the side of the vault table and your stomach would be facing the other side. In a true 1/2 on, your fingers will be facing the front of the table and your stomach faces the back.

There are a lot of poorly done 1/2 ons that I've seen that should be getting credited as 1/4s .
