I was wondering how many meets most gyms do a year and what are the competition fees. We do 8 plus an in house starter meet. I paid around $1400 this season. The leo was $150 and the warmups $120. I was told by a mom at another gym that her daughters fees were $800 and the Leo, warm ups, and gym...
Quick question - how many of you pay your coaches for bye sessions? For example - if I coach level 3's at 8AM, then have nothing at the 12:30 session, but have level 4's at 5PM - would you pay for three sessions, or two? Does it matter if it is a home meet, or away? Any info is appreciated!
My DD is on a new team which, therefore, has a new booster club, so we're still trying to figure out the logistics of everything. Are your meet fees paid through the booster club or through the gym? Ours are currently paid through the booster club, but it is leaving our treasurer in the...
Hi
I'm in the UK and we obviously have very different systems over here. I'm currently following the Booster club thread with interest - I'm assuming that its like a PTA for the gym ?
You mention about paying $1000 in meet fees - what level of gymnastics is this ( again I'm not really up on...
At our gym, our booster club handles payment of all meet entry fees and coaches expenses. Our gym owner pays the coaches for the sessions they coach. We (the booster club) are thinking of making some modifications to how the parents pay for the meets and expenses. I would be interested in how...
I would like input on how your gym handles coaches fees. I'm referring to the travel expenses, hotel expenses, meals, etc. Currently our booster club pays for all of these. We charge the same booster club membership fee for all levels. It has been our way of helping out the upper levels (where...
Just wondering what everyone's experience has been with getting a refund from a meet when a gymnast is injured and it is after the refund period. The gymnast will have a doctor's note saying she is unable to compete due to injury.
Thanks!
Another thread recently touched on this, but my question is somewhat different.
We are in a small gym (about ten girls in levels four and five and one higher level girl), with no parent booster club. Each gymnast pays meet fees separately (and per meet) to our gym for every meet the coach...
Just wondering what others are paying for optional level floor and beam routines? We just paid $150 for each....of course, the music was an additional cost
After a controversy between the parents' association and the coaches, I've been asked to do a little research on how much other gyms compensate their coaches for travel, meals, hotels, etc.? What per mile rate do you use? Do you pay actual hotel costs, meals, or a per diem. Any help or...
Hi all
Just looking for some advice.
In our club its fees day on sunday for next block problemb is there a few parents who have still to pay there last lot of fees. For last few mouths we have an increased prob of ppl paying fees late and a very casual attidude towards this - no one sees to...
Just wondering if your team charges an annual team fee? Our annual team registration day is coming up June 1st and we have to pay the team fee then--it's $450 at our gym.
How does your gym handle meet fees. I am talking for gymnast registration only, not coaches and other misc expenses. Do you pay as needed per registration, or do you pay a set amount before competition season begins. If your booster/gym has you paying in advance, what amount?
as a relatively new booster club we are assessing what should be paid for coaches fees for meets. can folks share their experiences on what they pay...our coaches are paid hourly by the gym owner and are highly qualified, coaching all levels
What are the annual team fees that you pay for your gymnasts on team? What does it pay for? We pay $500 per year to cover coaches' meet expenses, training, etc... If we pay early, we get a $50 discount. We try to do fundraising to come up with the team fee, but it's a struggle to come up...
Hi I am sorry for all of the questions I am new to all of this my DD 4 1/2 has just been selected for pre team since she cannot compete until she is 6 and right now her tuition is 150 a month for 3 hours per week and I know it is going to get much worse, but I was wondering what they charge for...
Are meet fees this crazy everywhere? My son had a level 5 meet a couple of weeks ago. We had to first pay an $80 Fee to enter him, then travel, then hotel, and then $15 dollars per adult and $10 dollar per child (under 10-year-old). For our family, that was an additional $55. (Our gym only...
