Has there been any more information dispersed regarding what the new L8 requirements will be? We pretty much know the other levels but no word on L8 yet.
HI!
As you may know, I do acro, but I would love to do artistic someday, but given my actual discipline, I would only be able to do floor, IMO (maybe parallels and vault, if I practice a lot).
As you also should know, acro is much more artistic than MAG, so I don't have that powerful tumbling...
Last night I noticed that two of the boys from other gyms in the area also competed level four last year. Of course, kids can repeat levels, but last year these boys competed as six year olds, and this year they are also competing as six year olds.
So, here is my question. Do you have to be...
Can you do a giant-giant tuck flyaway in level 8? Is a layout flyaway required, or is it just needed so that the gymnast has enough B's in her routine? If so, what other skills can be used to fill this B requirement?
Well first off, who chooses your team leos? If so does the person who chooses them ask for the parents and gymnasts imput? I know the girls hc and the optional always got together and choose their leos and the compulsaries did the same. we would then present them to the owners to get them...
I actually have several questions...
First, do you have to compete level 6 before level 7, or can you skip it? I am currently competing Level 5 in Colorado, but in the summer of 2012, I'll be moving to Pennsylvania where they compete both compulsory and optional at the same time...
Second, what...
Are giants required for Level 7 bars or can the girls do something different? My daughter 'almost' has her giants can do them with an 'almost spot'...at this point I think it is confidence... and her coach said that for the first few meets they can do something different (I forget what, sorry!!)...
My daughter is a level 7. When her routine was completed it was with three tumbling passes. Now her gym has decided that all level 7's should only complete two tumbling passes even those that have been competing in level 7 for more than one year. Does this fufill all the requirements?
Hi, I was wondering if any of you fellow aussies could please tell me the requirements for the state level 3 floor routine for this year? I just got moved onto level 3 SQUAD and I would like to know the requirements so I can work on them during the holidays at gym before I start back at the...
I am super excited that my gym is going to have a prep-opt team this year, and I was wondering what the requirements are for the bronze level? I was told that bronze is between levels 4-5, which is exactly where I am. I have had my kip for over a year, but am really struggling with the squat on...
I am in 12th grade and 17 years old. I can do a round-off back-handspringx2, standing back handspring, layout on tramp, back tuck on tramp, back tuck on floor, front walkover, back walkover, front handspring, front tuck, a front-handspring full twist on vault, a kip back-hip-circle cast handstand...
Hi, I'm training gymnastics for some time and I searched the internet to find out more about it, I found out that there are levels 1-10, but I've never fonud list of elements for routine for each level and how can I know on what level I am.
I like rings and I would like if someone could or...
Well, it pretty much says it itself in the title, but I was wondering what the minimum requirements for qualifying for elite levels were? I am currently a level 8, 14 years old. I am working on level 9 and 10 skills this summer. I am very good at Floor Exercise and Vault and my coaches have...
My daughter is 11 yr old level 8. She has very inconsistant perioette. What skill could she put in it's place and still have 10 SV? has nice clear hip and giants with layout full fly away.
What is the time requirement for the level 7 beam routine? We do not have a code of points at our gym and we only have one level 7. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks
I am having trouble finding the correct requirements for achieving a gymnast front scale on beam. Here are my questions for both arabesque and scale:
Is the base leg required to be straight or bent?
Is the base heel required to be OFF the beam? If so, is the foot on tippy toes or just need...
Is there some special requirment to have a free hip to 3/4 at level 8. The coach told my daughter if she did not do her free hip (which follows a piourette at handstand and I think a kip and a cast on the low bar) to at least 3/4 height, her routine would have a 9.5 start value. The JR. Op...
