Can someone who is more experienced please confirm if the following level 6 bar routine fulfills all the requirements?
Kip - squat on - jump to high high bar- kip- cast to 45 degrees- giant - flyaway
Thank you!
So, i'm re-choreographing my beam routine for next season, and i have a few skills that i don't feel confident about ( falling out of full turn, cat leap with low knees so it doesn't get credit etc.). Would you put these skills at the beginning/ first half of the routine, so you can get it over...
I am hoping that someone who knows the requirements of L7 can help me with something that I can't seem to get an answer for from either my dd or her coach. Her L7 floor routine keeps losing its start value. In the past 4 meets I have noticed that the judges lowered her start value to 9.7. Prior...
Hello, i was wondering if any judges or coaches would be able to look at my floor routine and tell me any errors and deductions in my routine. A score would be great as well to- i'm in xcel gold
thanks :)
I have a meet April 1st. I'm a sr 9 (if you've seen my other posts you know that it's basically levels 6-10, you can have any skills) and so rn i'm doing basics ig? I have a bhs bwo for my series, full turn, switch wolf split jump, split leap, wolf jump, and step front layout dismount. But i've...
Hello, i was wondering if anyone was a judge or knew a judge that would be willing to take a look at my floor routine and telle me the deductions they see. I would like my routine to be as good as possible for state :)
Short Stack is dreaming of next year, which will hopefully be her first season as an optional gymnast (no clue if she'll compete 6 or go straight to 7). She is thinking a lot about her beam routine and wants to mount with a press handstand. From what I understand, this is a B skill. If she did...
I'm a Sr. 9 in aga which is the equivalent to like level 6-10 in usag. It's complicated. I'll include all my requirements in every routine so if you would like to suggest a routine you can.
Routine 1: LB cut catch, squat on, straddle back, kip, cast handstand, kip, clearhip, squat on, HB cut...
I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before?... my gymnast & some of her teammates have higher skills on all events and the coach has decided to change their routines to their old, easier routines for the upcoming meets. Rumor has it it's because the coach wants them to get into states...
My daughter had a great floor routine choreographed last year, at great expense when she was in level 7, our floor coach at the time had made the decision that all optional routines would only have 2 tumbling passes, so that's how it was choreographed. My daughter had to have surgery before the...
We just joined a new gym and dd got invited onto pre-team. Team and competing starts at level 4 (I am guessing she is level 2 just on observing what other kids are doing). She trains 6 hours a week and this is only her second month. The focus on skills and conditioning and since they don't...
What is the maximum time limit for a Level 7 floor routine? Can it be 1:30?
My daughter just switched gyms and levels, and is being told the max length is 1:20. But everything I'm reading online says Levels 7 - 10 can be up to 1:30 (and Level 6 can be up to 1:15).
I completely understand...
Would someone be willing to judge my daughter's level 8 floor, bars and vault? She recently had a mock meet, but we don't receive any feedback. She's extremely nervous about this season and I was thinking if she knew about what to expect sore wise, it might help....thanks!!
In the level 3 beam routine, what is the deduction for not getting your handstand vertical? What about not kicking to horizontal? There are probably more technical terms for this. Sorry :)
Hi everyone! We just had our first lvl 6 practice meet. She's been recovering from partially torn ligaments in her left foot, but I was very curious how much deductions she's receiving due to the obviously crooked front tuck (because she still doesn't fully punch on the left foot anymore) and...
An adult gymnast in my class wanted examples of sassy and fun floor routines for her to see and maybe attempt. She did collegiate cheerleading and power tumbling so she has a lot of tumbling skills just but has never done a gymnastics floor routine.
Since I personally prefer more graceful...
My DD started level 2 (pre-team) class in September. This week they started teaching the level 3 routines (at least the floor routine). What is the usual timing for starting to learn the next level routine? Since they don’t compete at level 2 I'm guessing they aren't going to learn the level 2...
