You could try "Tegaderm" patches. They are super thin, stretchy sticky plasticy things that feel like a second skin. My mom's a nurse and she brought some for my daughter who is allergic to adhesives but nit these. She says they use them in the hospital to cover surgical incisions. A surgical supply section of a good pharmacy might carry them. I love these- I use them for all sorts of things, including covering itchy tags on clothing, patching holes in socks and in my kiddie pool, and covering larger areas like knees. Removal doesn't even hurt. They have no gauze, so do not slide against the skin at all.
