First of all I have never competed before. I am in xcel gold, but because I have never competed before, I have to compete one meet as a silver and score out (31 or higher which is like an average of solid 8's).

My coach said I have to have two circling skills on the low bar. Every since I got my grips I lost my front hip circle, an mill circle. He also said that that can't be in a row.
There are three scenarios. 1. Pull over, back hip circle, cast handstand, come back to front support, no cast back hip circle, cast squat, flyaway. 2.(this one would require me to get my kip, and free hip - i'm really close!) kip or pullover, back hip circle, freehip into a kip cast squat on, flyaway. 3. (This one I would need my sole circle -I'm pretty close) kip or pullover, back hip circle, sole circle, flyaway.

Which one do you guys think would work the best? I like 1 or 3 the best. My first competition isn't until January so I still have some time to get those skills.

Also, using USAG rules, can I even do a freehip in silver?

Thanks so much in advance! :)

A free hip is considered a B skill so you cannot do it as a Silver. Also, you cannot do a Flyaway as a Silver.

Special Requirements for Silver:
1. Min. of 5 “A” VP /skills
2. Cast (hips must leave bar)
3. Circling skill (not counting mount or dismount)
4. Dismount (can be from low bar or high bar)

I don't know why your coach is saying you need to circling skills on low bar, especially considering that the extra circling skill can only earn deductions - there is no additive value in doing extra skills... but if that is what he wants, here is a suggestion:
Pullover, back hip circle, cast, back hip circle, cast squat on, underswing dismount (or swing forward, 1/2 turn to touch other hand to bar, drop dismount- old Level 5/ new level 4 dismount).

And does anyone know what the bar requirements are for gold?
1. Min. of 6 “A” VP/skills (B skills are allowed)
2. Cast to horizontal
3. Circling skill (not in mount or dismount)
4. Dismount - high bar

So here, you could do:
Pullover (or kip), cast handstand, back hip circle, cast squat on, long hang pullover, swing, flyaway.

Here's the rules:

And the random other elements you can use in each level. These aren't the only skills you can do, they are in ADDITION to skills in the JO cop.

Your gym may have stricter requirements on its own though, just as some gyms set higher requirements than the minimum to progress through the JO levels.
