Women Beginning of season goals

Skills: get giant without straps, BWO BHS on beam, layout half on floor, something other than handspring vault.

Meets: win states

Progression: move up mid-season

Health: no injuries

Life: less homework so she can have more free time!!!

I talked to DD a bit more on her goals:

- competing: not placing last, as noted previously, but also hit all handstands (both with straddle and legs together casts), not fall of beam, and stick landings on all three tumble lines.

- becoming more aggressive in her approach to new skills.... ie. suggesting to her coach she feels ready to try something new (which her coach has said she likes)

- spending less time "between" skills on beam, so as to get through the req'd reps faster, especially when working on harder things such as aerials, saltos, or harder leaps.

- skills: front aerial and BHS BLO on beam, 1.5 and double twists on floor, double back off bars and on floor, blind change to front giants, toe ups and toe shoots, yurchenko vault. Not much.
