:confused::confused:
That's how I feel...
I don;t have any idea why one of my girls just can't cast over 90 degrees !!!
Is it fear ? She is leaning well over the bar ! Is she not strong enough ?
Is there any "test" so make just to see if she is strong enough ? Could it be her legs ?
Her legs are also weak in handspring on vault... I am running out of ideas.

I let them do swings on the p bar , I let them do swings/casts to handstand (spotting) , but whenever she does them alone, it's a little cast ..... please HELP !

Probably a few things going on.

1. She's probably scared. A lot of young gymnasts are. Same with boys swinging to HS on PB.

2. She might be weak. Easy test of upper strength is if she can do dips. Elbows should not flare out (set the parallel bars as narrow as possible if she is small). You can test with a single rail dip, but those are harder to choose since many kids will lean a lot of their bodyweight on the bar and a single rail dip is harder than a Parallel Bar dip.

3. When it comes to vault, does she run slow because she is scared of the vault or because she is just weak? Does she run on the ball of her foot or heels (I've had some gymnasts unable to run on the ball of their feet because their ankles are weak).
