Hi I am setting up a little rec club in a community centre to operate only once or twice a week , most beginner kids 8 and under a few older ones up to 13. Class size up to 15.We are fortunate to have had some second hand equipment donated but i am struggling with a 'floor' .There are some very old PE mats there which will be ok to stand under equipment but most are coming apart and cornets curled up so would not be safe
The floor is kind of tiles on a concrete base. I hd thought of flexi roll carpet rolls to provide a soft and stable floor but this extremely expensive (since I am going to have to lend the project the money for this)
I was wondering what teh minimum size I can get away with and ant cheaper options which will be protective and stable enough on a hard floor
What would you do?

These are good quality mats and good value. I've used them (as a rec gymnast and as a coaching assistant) on hard sports hall floors, either wood or polished concrete, but not tile. They make a nice stable surface with decent protection and they are extremely durable.
