When I do a round-off, my blocking is really good. I took a video of myself doing a round-off from a hurdle, from a stand and from the knee. It looks really good and I compared the different phases (I stopped the video) to turorials by coaches on YouTube and they look totally identical until the rebound. My hands get away from the ground really well but when my feet hit the ground, my upper body is not straight! It is not so bad that my chest is parallel to the ground but also not straight up, although my hands get away so well!

I think it would be good for a back handspring but not good for a tuck!

Any tips?

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
