What is the deduction for a spot on flyaway?
Munchie can do it un spotted sometimes, but other times the coach gives her a light tap.
Other times it's just the 'fake' touch where my daughter thinks he is about to spot, but never actually touches her.

Also, another girl requires a spot on the BT on floor......is it .50?

What are falls on beam? .50 also?

Spotted skills are a bit tricky...the deduction is .5 for the spot in addition to "up to the value of the element." If the entire skill is spotted, the judge should be taking maximum deduction. If there is just a small touch, the judge can take a smaller deduction. So the maximum deduction on a fly-away or back tuck that is spotted is 1.1.

Falls are .5

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
