So DD is looking at b skills for the floor that are a bit different than what everyone else is doing and her straddle jump isn't spectacular. Looking through the code book with her choreographer and coaches there is a neat looking skill that looks like you start a back walkover, get to handstand turn 360 and then finish the walk over. Does this have a name? Is that an accurate description of the skill and has anyone seen a video? Just thought it was a cool skill.

yes. yes. and yes. it's old school circa 70's and 80's. if i run across it i'll post it.

Thanks! We just thought it was something a bit different but not out of the realm of possibility :)

I don't know the name of it, but it is in the JO code of points worth a B. She can start the BWO from a stand or from a sititng position (like a Valdez).

Just curious, when they get to the handstand do they keep there legs in split or go to a straight handstand?

Sounds like a fun and different skill for her routine!
