Hello Everyone,

I am trying to build a new training program for my recreational gym. There is so much information all the new coaches need to learn. I would like new coaches to be able to coach a class for 4-6 yr old. after 2 weeks.
Do you all have any advice on building a program and ways to make it interesting?

Thank you for all the advice!

4-6 year olds can be hard. We don't put our newest coaches on this age group, we put our best coaches on this age group.

We start them with gymnasts who are already a little experienced and already quite a bit hooked on gymnastics, you don't want to be losing new clients due to inexperienced staff.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
