10.0 PLUS .1. There is no SV above a 10.0. Just throwing that out there, that 's the correct way to say it. 10.0 + .1
NIL is more of a threat than elite athletes. Now athletes are asking "what can you do for me" rather than "what can I do for your school."

Really? you do realize what you sound like? Technically the correct way to say it is 10.0 SV with a 0.1 Bonus. But ya 10.1 SV is the same thing, even you understood, but I guess saying 10.1 SV must sound like nails scratching the chalkboard to your refined ears. So much so that you felt the need to educate the lesser classes. lol.

Hey Anonymous cf53 - you've made two, unnecessary, snarky comments. Take it down a notch, please!

The PP was not at all rude in pointing out the clarification of the 10.0 SV + bonus. They are also correct...or at least this was always how my DD talked about SV (heck, I've even heard NCAA commentators talk about the SV never being above 10.0).

Except we are not talking about NCAA commentators or NCAA scoring. We are talking about the DP program. And EVERYONE (at least in the south) in DP says 10.1 SV.in the course of casual conversation (i.e Message boards) Coaches, athletes, parents even judges, And then you always get the one person that feels the need to point out that "Technically there is no such thing as a 10.1 SV....." Why? Is it confusing, do people not understand 10.1 versus 10.0 PLUS 0.1?!

And my other comment, came from the fact that one posts asking for advice/answer. Is given answer based upon what I have seen over the last three years of my DD and crew going through the recruiting process, signing with a top 3 program and still refuse to believe what I have ACTUALLY SEEN AND EXPERIENCED. Actually now I see, then someone decides to pull the "Technically its not a 10.1 SV" card to further discredit me. So perhaps change your perspective a little and you might see that comment as rude. Anyway I have said my piece. I apologize for any offense to people.

I agree with you about the whole 10.1 SV reply being silly, but you never replied to fact that others have pointed out to you in regards to the amount of roster spots being more available now.. Why is that? You mentioned above that the teams are adding to their rosters like crazy because they only kept 15 girls on their team, and that was wrong.. but yet you didn't even bother to look that up and realize what you said was wrong. It is also true that elites will win out on spots ahead of most DP ( MOST not ALL ) and lots of schools are now scouting from other countries more prevalently, My daughter is a 2026 commit and 2/5 girls in her class are elites from other countries... which means that 2 girls from the US will not be recruited, which in turn means the OG poster has a point. Wouldn't you agree to see those points?
