Hello coaches! and anyone else reading!
Last week my coach asked me to come back to team.
I've been out since march.
I want to go back, but I know it'll be a struggle getting back in shape!

Is there any advice on what I should do to build up endurance and strength and flexibility before stepping back onto team?
I know I can just do stretches and some running, but I don't know what my coach will expect from me.
I competed L7 last year, btw.

ANY ideas/thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks!

Stretching is a big one..

Skill repetition will help, even if it's just 3-5 kips in a row, or free hip-hand to free hip hand.. whatever place youre at..

Strength will come back with conditioning, but dont expect to be able to do everything you did before. Please, dont push yourself too hard if youre not ready. BE aware of your body, and keep yourself safe.

Really.. you should pop back in really quickly, and feel right at home if youre ready. Some things may not go quite as expected, but they will fix themselves as time goes on.

Good luck! And welcome back :-D

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
