Hey everyone,

For those of you who order from Jagwear, what do you think of their Jag tops? They're like leotards but cut like a shirt instead of a full leotard. I'm considered getting one, but I don't know if I'd like it or not. Has anyone bought one before/what are your opinions on them? Thanks!!

I have a Coach (or ex coach since she isnt really coaching) that makes these tops i perfer hers over the described but have no practical use of them. She herself however wears her homemade tops and homemade shorts and they seem to act just like a leo, not rolling up on skills or falling down when upside down. I dont believe we as gymnasts are allowed to wear these but that is simply because we do not want to fight for such a pitiful fashion argument, if your coach does allow them im sure they would be great.

I have no experience with the jag wear tops but got a really cute one from my local target. it was only aound $14 and does not fall down. i say if your coach allows you to wear them go ahead and get one.

ETA i just looked at the website and saw some of them are $60!!!! they are definetly cheaper from your local walmart, target, sports authority, any soprting goods store or stores with athletic type clothing. personally i would not spend that much money on something that works just as well at a fraction of the cost :D

Funny that you ask this question now because just this past sunday my DD took a picture of the jag tops to the gym to find out if she could wear them at practice. She was told to ask the owner but another coach said that they might cause a problem if they are being spotted on a skill. IDK, maybe getting a coach hand caught under the shirt?

I have a friend who wears them and she says you get less wedgies from it. Make sure it's tight though, if not it could cause spotting issues.

I've never worn them but there were many girls from Canada wearing them at Woodward and they were quite tight. Some I even thought were leotards until I looked closely!

Just my opinion, but from the looks of it they would work better on the flatter chested person. :P
