Lol, we are in Region 5 (no congress yet) and our coaches and even the judges are freaking out because Jr High team meets use Platinum rules (with High School Bonus modifications), and the judges don't know the changes yet.

Coincidentally I asked this for a friend who is also in Region 5. She was super appreciative for your information!

I posted this in the Xcel forum, but this is up on New Mexico USAG's website (region 3 has had our congress). It lines up with what I've heard from several coaches (on here and IRL), except that the bars changes may apply to Gold as well as silver (the document only lists silver.)

Lol, I finally received my email about Region 5 congress. It wont be until September 14-16. Middle school season starts around September 5.
There will be a 1 hour Coaching class on Xcel Updates on the Friday and 2 one hour Technical classes on Sunday... one on Vault and Bars and one on Beam and Floor. Too bad they cant do it BEFORE it is needed.
