I dont like the pics... how will they have the room to fall to the back or roll if they are that close to the end of the mat stack?

I've seen 2 hours worth of training videos, there is plenty of room, and they have to have another mat placed behind the mat stack on the floor.
 
How high do the mats behind the vault table need to be for this vault timer? In the drawing, the mats are well below the height of the table, but in the videos, the mats are at table height or higher.

The range of allowable heights for the mats is between 32” and 60”.
 
So does this mean that for L6 they do not have to stick the landing of the FHS to stacked mats?
