Women Meet hair product ideas?

My first meet of the season is next weekend, but I don't know any good hair products (like gel or hairspray to keep the 'whispies' back). Any suggestions?

we use Garnier -Surf Hair for gel (green jar with a yellow lid...or at least it had a yellow lid last time I picked some up). It's strong hold without the "wet" look. DD doesn't like the gelled wet look, so this is perfect. It's never let us down....and it's cheap. I've been using the same jar for 5 yrs lol

Gel, you pick the brand, helps my girl. We couldn't get her hair in shape without it.

That is pre doing the bun.

Followed by hair spray after bun, you pick. brand.

Got2B is really strong! I like to use pomade. It doesn't make the hair so sticky and hard. I use it to smooth all the hair down and then hairspray on top of that.
